
BFF-AFC B Diploma coaching course
First ever BFF-AFC B Diploma coaching course comes to end today.The General secretary of Bhutan Football Federation Mr. Ugyen Wangchhuk graced the closing ceremony at Changjiji.
A total of 28 participants took part in the course out of which seven were female coaches from district and clubs.
Mr. Kinley Dorji Head of Coach Education was the lead tutor assisted by Mr. Ugyen Dorji head of Amateur Football and Mr. Ugyen Dorji “A” License coach from RTC as an observer in the course under the guidance and mentorship of Mr. Vincent Subramaniam, Technical Director of BFF.
There were guest instructors to cover different topics during the course Mr. Nima Gyeltshen from DYS provided information on doping session and mental and educational aspects of basic training , Mr. Phuntsho Wangdi Head of Media and Marketing, BFF, gave a talk on Integrity and Safeguarding. Mr. Puspalal Sharma the Technical Director of Paro FC delivered on Fitness components, Mr. Ugyen Dorji Head of Referee on the new amendments on Laws of the game and Mr. Passang Tshering who is a Level -2 GK certified coach delivered a practical session on Goalkeeping topics.
The coach education department would like to thank Tensung FC , Transport FC, High Quality United FC and their youth players who took part in practical sessions throughout the course.
The coaches are now expected to work with their youth teams in their respective clubs, academies and schools for the period of three months.
Their work will be reviewed and the result will be published then.
