Bhutan Football Federation and Nestlé India’s MILO® will flag-off Bhutan MILO® Cup 2018, on 25th February, across 20 districts of Bhutan among 578 schools all over the country. Approximately 20,000 students will be involved in the grassroots program which will include football tournaments at inter-school and inter-district levels under different age categories, both male and female.
The partnership is the first of its kind in the sporting arena in the country and Nestlé India becomes the first Indian company to partner with Bhutan Football Federation embarking on a very important area of grassroots football. Grassroots football is the top most priority for Bhutan football and growth for football in the country.
“I am very thankful that Nestlé MILO® is sponsoring our grass root football,” said Bhutan Football Federation President Ugen Tsechup. He added that such a partnership will have a huge impact in development of football in the country.
Bhutan Football Federation and Nestlé MILO® will sign a one-year agreement.
The Bhutan MILO® cup will kick off in 20 districts of Bhutan and will run throughout the year. The finals will be played in end Januray in Gelephu , a southern district of the country.
