Sonam Yangchen opened the floodgate at 8 minutes and then Sunrise got hat-tricks from Captain Galey Wangmo and Vice Captain Pema Choden Tshering and a double from the teams star Namgyel Dema, as expected they acquired a very comfortable victory.

Sunrise has a lot of exceptional and experienced players which is vivid from their reign on the point table. Their forward Namgyel Dema stands on 3rd position in the list of top scorers, Kelme-Bhutan National Women’s League 2021. She has begged the title of Woman of the Match 3 consecutive times in the last 7 outings.

Apart from being in the list of top scorers, Namgyel is a great assist on whom her mates could rely. She has a very powerful yet precise kick and her pace is commendable making her one of the most aspiring woman footballer in the country. Her lean figure and long legs makes her look weak but that is until you see her on the pitch, all engrossed into her passion.

Yangchenphug on the other hand had a very strong defense game in the starting half letting in only 3 goals but after the break, the floodgate opened loose on them as they conceded 6 goals having to end in a disappointing 9-0 loss by the full time.

For the next match we will have Sunrise WFC vs Taktshang WFC at Changlimithang on 19th November.
