Dragon Boys will face neighboring Blue Tigers for the first time in the home turf on 13th August at Changlimethang stadium.
The Indian Senior National team will be in the country for week long training session and a friendly match with Bhutan senior national team. The match will be good exposure for both the countries and it will be good match experience for Bhutan before facing Bangladesh for the AFC qualifier in September.
And it will be best time for Bhutan to test their newly recruited national players against the strong opponent and work on tactical area.
India has dominated the past games against Bhutan but it will be different this time as they will be facing the music of home fans and Bhutan has impressive record at home.
“It will be good match experience for our players and also for football fans to watch international match”, said General Secretary of Bhutan Football Federation Ugyen Wangchhuk. He said that Bhutan team need more international matches and such matches will improve football standard in the country.
