The FIFA Women Coaching course which began on 12th November under the auspices of FIFA in Gelephu Academy, Sarpang, Bhutan came to an end earlier today. The workshop was conducted by Belinda Wilson, FIFA Instructor from Australia.

The 5 days course was attended by 29 women from various regions of Bhutan. The week-long course has brought the participants, consisting of not only women coaches but also women players from different local clubs; learned about the latest developments and techniques in football coaching.
One of the participant shared her learning experience in the closing session that coaches really influences how much players enjoy their football (and whether they also stay in the game), the attitude towards competitiveness (including the parents), as well as helping the players develop their tactical understanding, game insight and football technique.
