The Grassroots Football coaching course started on 6th Dec in Punakha and the program was graced by Dasho Norbu Gyaltshen, Principal, Ugyen Academy. A total of 34 SSIs from different schools took part in the 5 days’ course. The course was led by BFF National Instructors. The main objective of the course was to extend the game of football across the nation.
The 5 days’ course concluded on 10th Dec by conferring certificates to the 34 School Sports Instructors from across the country by Mr. Pema Dorji, VP, BFF. He mentioned that the coaches should continue to endure their efforts to promote the game in the country.
BFF will be organizing Grassroots football and C certificate coaching courses this year despite the pandemic following the COVID-19 SOP to educated School Sports Instructors. BFF has trained about 527 Grassroots coaches.
