Nepal stops top title contender Bangladesh today at Changlimithang stadium 2-1.
Bangaldesh was team to beat at the SAFF U 18 championship after they defeated India and Maldives in their first two games. It was must win for Nepal if they had any chance for the title in this tournament and they did in style.
Bangladesh played absolutely stunning football today and outplayed Nepal in many aspects of the game. Bangladesh started the game with attacking football and they created many scoring chance just that they couldn’t convert and stuck the wood work many times.
While Nepal who looked shaky at the defense line found the net at 22nd minutes of the game in the first half courtesy of Abhishek Rijal a beautiful lofted head ball gave Nepal a much needed led.

Bangladesh will face Bhutan on 27th and Nepal will face India on the same day. The title race is still open and any team can win the championship.
