Paro Women’s FC earned their 2nd win of Kelme-Bhutan National Women’s League 2021 with 3 goals in the second half to defeat Taktshang Women’s FC. With this win, they are at par with Mandala Women’s FC on the point table.

The starting half saw the game swinging in favor of Paro Women’s FC as they went ahead threatenning Taktshang Women’s FC since the first whistle. However, squandering all the chances to find the net, match before the break ended in a goalless draw.

Nevertheless, just 8 minutes into the second half Paro Women’s FC broke the tedious deadlock as Dechen Lhazin Eden scored a near post attempt. Soon after, their captain Karma Wangmo gave an exceptional cross but their goalie turned striker Kinzang Dema headed it out but Paro got their doubler at 61 minutes through Deki Yangdon with a blast. The wrap up goal came from Gyenden Om at 83rd minute on the clock.

“Despite no wins till date, i am glad that my girls are improving with each game but i do accept that they lack in case of attacking. We will be focusing on that while we train.” Said Tshering Yangki, head coach of Taktshang Women’s FC.

For the next match we will have Sunrise Women’s FC vs Ugyen Academy Women’s FC at Changlimithang on Saturday.
