
UA remains in the title race
Ugyen Academy Women’s FC gets a very comfortable win against Taktshang Women’s FC 8-0 at Ugyen Academy ground today. Taktshang ends their tourney of Kelme-Bhutan Women’s League 2021 on the 5th position.
UA girls one goal each from Tshering Yangden and Jamyang Choden in the first half. Tshering netted 5 more goals after the break to complete her double hat-trick and the hosts pro-assist Sunita Rai slotted in the wrap up goal for the day.
Tshering, the striker of Ugyen Academy WFC started football in 2011 and says she knew if was her true calling as she has been part of the National Team since the same year. She joined Women’s Football Academy at Gelephu in 2016.
Currently the striker of Sunrise WFC, Galey Wangmo and Tshering Yangden aka PeeCee are competing for the title of top scorer this season. She has slotted 29 goals including the 6 goals of today followed by Galey, who has 25 goals. “I am hopeful that i will be able to get the title” said the UA striker.
Kelme-Bhutan Women’s National League 2021 has been left with the final clash between Ugyen Academy Women’s FC vs Sunrise Women’s FC which will take place on 28th November at Ugyen Academy ground.
