Scouting

• We have to work closely with focal persons in the different districts. The focal persons finds out a potential players in their district and make a list of potential players in each age category( U19, U15 and U13).
• The focal persons should bring the selected players from the Intra-meets in districts to national meet for further selection. In future the selection will be done through Intra and national meets rather than open calling selection .
• We need to cover the whole nation, so we try to send each district a focal person.

Guidelines for Scouting

• Basic Techniques: Ball control, dribbling and passing.
• Tactical fundamentals: 1 vs 1, 2 vs 1 in attack and Defense,Anticipation and Creativity.
• Physical Fitness: Motor coordination, Speed( physical speed and thinking speed).
• Psychological Aspects: Self-confidence, Winning mentality, Willingness to learn, Teamwork.

We try to send a focal person to all districts as possible. They have to conduct the football programmes i.e. GR, Youth and organizing the Intra competitions for selecting the players for national competitions to be selected for National teams to be stationed in Academy. Focal person in the district will work with the districts sport association under the district football association controlled by BFF. We also need coaches for the national teams in the academy.
