Bhutan Football Federation Launches Child Safeguarding Policy 2022
Bhutan Football Federation launched the first edition of Child Safeguarding Policy 2022 at Changjiji BFF Academy to commemorate His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck’s 42nd birthday.

Ms. Zimbiri, Executive Committee Member and Chairperson of Women Football, and Mr. Ugyen Wangchhuk, General Secretary of Bhutan Football Federation were present.

Bhutan Football recognizes that children have the right to be free of all sorts of abuse and that it is our responsibility to protect them at all costs through this policy.
Among the key insights BFF plans to:
- Put an end to all types of violence against girls, boys and young adults in football.
- Create a strong system for child protection that operates effectively across all levels and at all times, including emergency periods.
- Ensure that no child should feel unsafe in their sporting environment.
