Breaking the highest number of goals scored in a match in this season, City reclaimed their top position surpassing PARO FC with the 3 points they claimed easily over RINPUNG FC today at Changlingmithang.
Opening the brutal floodgate of goals at 15 minutes when Karma Shedrup headed in the long pass from defense Sherab Dorji. 5 goals followed in almost consecutive minutes starting from the 17th minute on the clock, a brace from Nima Tshering and a goal each from Dawa Tshering, Orgyen and Karma Sonam. In 39 minutes Captain Tshering Dorji netted the 7th goal and Yeshey Dorji slotted his first goal of BPL 2021 a minute before the break to end the starting half in 8-0.
The reds hammered 7 more goals in the second half, Nima Tshering completing his treble at 68 minutes and Yeshey Dorji scoring a hat-trick, finding the net again at 46, 71 and 74 minutes respectively. “I am very excited for being able to score a haul today.
