An overwhelming day for Gelephu FC as they acquire the much awaited first victory of BoB Bhutan Premier League today at Changlimithang humbling Tensung FC 0:2. Even if they stay on the bottom despite todays win, Gelephu is no more a team with no wins.

The team on the bottom of the table seemed to have had a very serious training as they went ahead early through their striker Ngawang Namgyel Tamang at 15 minutes on the clock. Ngawang Namgyel holds the record of scoring the fastest goal of the league which left their opponent for the day High Quality United FC stunned that day.

Gelephu FC celebrating

Tensung’s newly substituted Thinley Wangdi hit the back of the net in the 74th minute but was ruled out for offside having to end the game without even being able to save a nil.
